Tevye Waite, CPO
Serving Longview, Astoria & surrounding areas
I was raised on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon. I went to college in Eastern Idaho where I met my wife, Sara, and started our family. I worked as the Director of Education at the Museum of Idaho for 6 years before deciding to change careers. I became interested in Prosthetics and Orthotics after being fitted for a custom knee brace to treat an ACL tear. I returned to school and completed a MS degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University of Washington. While at the UW we had our third child and then moved to the Portland area to do an orthotics residency at the Shriner's Hospital. In 2014, I began a prosthetics residency with Evergreen P&O at the Vancouver location. After the completion of my residency program, I worked at a couple of other Evergreen clinics before taking on the task of establishing a full time clinic in Longview. At this time, I also assumed responsibility of the Astoria location and developed it from a one-day-a-week clinic to four clinic days a week. In 2016 our fourth child was born. I enjoy camping, backpacking, mountain biking, and exploring new parts of the country.
