Mark received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Walla Walla College in 2001. He was then drawn to the field of prosthetics and trained as a technical specialist in Portland for several years while concurrently attending Portland State University to further his education. Mark was committed to training as a practitioner and was able to attend the University of Washington completing a degree in orthotics and prosthetics. He was able to stay in Washington during his residency and completed his training in Spokane in 2008.
Mark has over 20 years of experience in the field, including 10 as the managing clinician for Evergreen’s Vancouver location. He has worked his way up from an entry level position to becoming the Director of Evergreen’s Center of Advanced Prosthetic Care, located in Vancouver. Mark now dedicates his time training and implementing the latest techniques and hardware related to prosthetics. Mark is committed to training future practitioners as the residency coordinator for Clark County in Washington.
Mark enjoys spending time with his family which includes a sphynx and labradoodle. When he has free time you will find him riding dirt bikes, skiing, boating, and hiking. Mark loves the community he has the privilege to serve and work with on a daily basis.
